WHO WE ARE
At First Church of Christ, our Youth Groups exist for the purpose of connecting students to God, each other, and the world in which we live. We believe that the best way for this to happen is to have our students learn in Small Groups, where they join others their age and are led in Bible study by an adult volunteer from the FCOC student ministry.
WHEN WE MEET
(During the School Year)
Small Groups meet every Wednesday night during the school year from 6:00 pm to 8:30pm. There is free time for basketball, foosball, or just hanging out with your friends. Bring a little bit of money each week and use your free time to buy candy and SOBE's to help support the funding of student mission trips. Each week when free time is over, our rock band (comprised of students) leads us group worship before we head to Small Group study.
IGNITE
Ignite is a Small Group experience designed for students ages 11-13. When students come to IGNITE, they will experience learning together with other students their own age and gender. All curriculum for IGNITE has been designed for students this age, and their adult leaders have a passion for serving students at this stage of their emotional and Spiritual development.
FUEL
Fuel is a Small Group experience designed for students ages 14-18. When students come to FUEL, they will experience learning together with other students their own age and gender. All curriculum for FUEL has been designed for students this age, and their adult leaders have a passion for serving students at this stage of their emotional and Spiritual development.

CAMPS, MISSION TRIPS & MORE
One of the best ways to experience connection is to spend a week of your summer at church camp, or come with us for a week of serving God and others in Mexico. We also offer many opportunities throughout the school year to make the world a better place by volunteering in our tutoring ministry that provides free tutoring to Painesville City Schools' elementary students. In addition, we need students to volunteer in KidConnect, our children's ministry on the weekends.
TEEN CHOIR
All students, grades 6-12, have the opportunity to join our Teen Choir. Teen Choir meets for the purpose of connecting in ministry to provide leadership and service to our congregation through worship. Our choir also tours each year to connect to our world by serving and performing at churches, camps, and conferences throughout the country.
