The PRAISE CHOIR rehearses each weekend for about 1 1/2 hours beginning at 9:00am on Sundays. We sing approximately two weekends a month in the regular worship services.

The choir also participates in special outreach events such as the Christmas and Easter musicals. During preparations for these events the Thursday evening rehearsals may be lengthened slightly and extra rehearsals called.

This is a non-auditioned group, open to those who love to worship God and lead His people through music. It is expected that choir members will be faithful in their attendance at rehearsals and all ministry presentations.

The PRAISE TEAM SINGERS are auditioned from the Praise Choir and assist in leading the Sunday services. The Praise Team Singers rehearse weekly on Thursday evening. Singers are placed on a team of vocalists and minister on a rotating schedule.

The TEEN CHOIR is an opportunity for Junior High and High School students to present music that is contemporary in style and relevant to their lives. This group ministers to our congregation and tours to other audiences also.

The PRAISE ORCHESTRA will be made up of musicians who love to express their praise to God on their instruments. This group will rehearse weekly and plays regularly in the Sunday worship services and accompany the Worship Choir for special music and major outreach events. This group is open to those who play an orchestral instrument at a high school level and beyond.

We are looking for those who play the following instruments:

Strings; Woodwinds, Violin, Flute, Viola, Clarinet, Cello, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophones

Brass; Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba

Percussion; Auxiliary, Mallets

The PRAISE BAND leads the congregation in worship as part of the praise team for weekend services. These bands are primarily comprised of piano, bass, drums, guitar, percussion and synthesizer and are occasionally augmented by other orchestral instruments.

This group rehearses each weekend at 9:00am on Sundays. The musicians for these bands are auditioned from the congregation and are of high school age and older.

It is our desire to create a DRAMA TEAM that gives creative direction to the use of theatre arts in the life of our congregation. We wish to build a team of actors, directors, writers and technicians who can present the relevant truth of God's word in fresh and creative ways.

To date we have done short sketches and reader's theatre pieces during the Sunday worship services. We have also performed longer, musical theatre pieces for our Christmas outreach events.

As we look ahead we wish to make drama a regular feature of our weekend worship services and also present full length productions for special outreach events.
